Small-scale Seawater Desalination Equipment

The product models include: FST-1, FST-2 and FST-Z.

Product Overview

n The FST-1 type device mainly utilizes reverse osmosis technology to pre-treat seawater and conduct primary reverse osmosis membrane treatment, etc., to obtain fresh water with a TDS not exceeding 500mg/L. The FST-1 type device mainly consists of a seawater water supply pump (booster pump), a multi-media filter, a fine filter, a security filter, a first-stage high-pressure pump, a first-stage reverse osmosis membrane, pipeline valves, operation parameter display and control instruments, an electrical control box and a cleaning tank, etc. All components are installed on a common base. The FST-1 unit utilizes reverse osmosis technology to pretreat seawater and perform 1st reverse osmosis mem brane treatment, producing fresh water with TDS not exceeding 500mg/L. The FST-1 unit mainly consists of a seawater feed pump (booster pump), multi-media filter, precision filter, cartridge filter, primary high-pressure pump, 1st reverse osmosis membrane, piping valves, operational parameter display and control instruments, electrical control cabinet, and cleaning tank, with all components installed on a common base frame.
n The FST-2 unit is a 2nd reverse osmosis desalination device, primarily used to further treat the product water from the 1st reverse osmosis unit through an additional reverse osmosis process to obtain fresh water with TDS not exceeding 150mg/L. The FST-2 unit mainly comprises a 2nd high-pressure pump, 2nd reverse osmosis membrane, piping valves, operational parameter display and control instruments, and electrical control cabinet, with all components installed on a common base frame.
n The FST-Z unit is an integrated reverse osmosis seawater desalination device that combines and optimizes both 1st and 2nd reverse osmosis desalination units; after treatment, fresh water with TDS not exceeding 150mg/L is obtained from seawater. The unit mainly consists of a seawater feed pump (booster pump), multi-media filter, precision filter, cartridge filter, primary high-pressure pump, 1st reverse osmosis membrane, 2nd high-pressure pump, 2nd reverse osmosis membrane, piping valves, operational parameter display and control instruments, electrical control cabinet, and cleaning tank, with all components installed on a common base frame.

Device Function

n Dual operation modes – Supports both automatic and manual control.
n One-touch start – Enables quick system activation with a single button.
n Overpressure protection for 1st high-pressure pump discharge – If discharge pressure exceeds the set limit, the system shuts down automatically and triggers audible & visual alarms.
n Undervoltage protection for 1st high-pressure pump intake – If feedwater supply is insufficient (pressure below the set value), the system shuts down automatically and activates audible & visual alarms.
n Overpressure protection for 2nd high-pressure pump discharge – If discharge pressure exceeds the set limit, the device automatically bypasses and discharges the substandard water, and issues an alarm signal.
n High TDS alarm for 2nd product water – If the TDS (total dissolved solids) exceeds 150 mg/L, the system automatically diverts non-compliant water to bypass discharge and issues an alarm.
n Rejection of substandard treated water – If the desalinated water conditioning/disinfection system fails to meet quality standards, the RO unit receives the alarm signal, switches to the reject water line, and discharges non-compliant product water. The touchscreen displays real-time alarm information.
